OpenSUSE 13: Install PLEX

Install PLEX rpm package for CentOS 7.

> sudo systemctl start plexmediaserver

Open 32400/tcp.

Accessinig PLEX via Apache2 provides digest authentication for access control.

Install Apache2 and enable modules for rewriting URL.

Add config file for PLEX.

Create digest authentication file for PLEX.

> sudo htdigest2 -c /etc/apache2/.plexmediaserver \
"plexmediaserver" user

Restart Apache2.

> sudo systemctl enable apache2
> sudo systemctl restart apache2

Open Apache2 port. Close 32400/tcp if it is opened.
